Mike Bailey sits in a tent he has erected on the strike line in front of the Mott's plant at 5 in the morning on August 7, 2010. A member of the RWDSU (Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union) Local 220, Bailey made the decision to live outside his old place of work to save money on gas and support his fellow workers. In Bailey's tattered tent, the wind and rain are close company. He sleeps briefly, but the morning light only seems to give him more energy. As many on the strike line like to quote, "One day longer, one day stronger."
